Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of Sentinel by Reviewal ("Sentinel" or the "Service"). It is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account, with no refund for any paid period.

Sentinel is a compliance monitoring tool designed to help you maintain healthy social media accounts. This AUP exists to keep the Service safe, lawful, and useful for everyone. If you are uncertain whether a particular use is permitted, contact us at sentinel@reviewal.team before using the Service in that way.

1. Permitted use

Sentinel is licensed to you for business-to-business use, in accordance with the Terms of Service, to:

• Monitor social media accounts that you own or that you have documented authorization from the account owner to monitor.
• Analyze your own content for compliance with the target platform's published policies.
• Review scan results, reach diagnostics, and recommendations.
• Use scan outputs to inform your own decisions about content strategy, compliance risk, and account health.

2. Prohibited uses

You may not use Sentinel to do any of the following, and you may not permit or encourage anyone else to do so through your account.

2.1 Unauthorized account monitoring

• Connecting a social media account that you do not own and for which you do not have documented authorization from the account owner.
• Using Sentinel to monitor accounts belonging to competitors, ex-partners, public figures, or any other third party without their explicit consent.
• Using Sentinel for surveillance, harassment, stalking, or intelligence gathering against any individual or business.

2.2 Abuse of the Service

• Creating multiple accounts to bypass account limits, billing, or other restrictions.
• Sharing your account credentials with parties outside your business entity or beyond what the Terms permit.
• Reselling Sentinel access, scans, reports, or outputs as a standalone service to third parties without our written authorization.
• Using automated tools (bots, scrapers, headless browsers) to interact with Sentinel in ways not offered through our documented user interface.

2.3 Attempts to circumvent platform enforcement

• Using Sentinel outputs to evade, obscure, or hide violations of the underlying social media platform's own policies.
• Using Sentinel to determine what content will pass automated detection so that policy-violating content can be posted safely.
• Coordinating with others to game the metrics of a monitored platform (for example engagement pods, artificial inflation, coordinated inauthentic behavior).

2.4 Illegal or harmful content

You may not connect accounts to Sentinel, or submit content for scanning, that:

• Contains or promotes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), non-consensual intimate imagery, or human trafficking.
• Contains or promotes terrorism, mass violence, or credible threats of violence against individuals or groups.
• Promotes illegal goods or services (including narcotics, weapons, stolen goods, counterfeit products, or fraud).
• Facilitates hate speech, harassment, or targeted abuse based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar characteristics.
• Violates the intellectual property rights of third parties.
• Violates the laws of the United States, the United Arab Emirates, the European Union, the United Kingdom, or any other jurisdiction where the content or account is directed.

2.5 Regional legal restrictions

In particular, users connecting accounts directed at audiences in the United Arab Emirates or other jurisdictions with specific content restrictions must not use Sentinel in connection with content that violates local law, including but not limited to laws relating to content that offends religious values, morality, national security, or public order in those jurisdictions.

2.6 Security and integrity

• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to Sentinel, other users' accounts, or our infrastructure.
• Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of any system without prior written authorization.
• Introducing malware, viruses, or malicious code.
• Interfering with or disrupting the Service or the servers or networks connected to it.
• Bypassing rate limits, authentication, or other technical restrictions.
• Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or attempting to derive the source code of Sentinel, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

2.7 Misrepresentation

• Misrepresenting your identity, your business, or your authorization to monitor an account.
• Falsely representing an affiliation with Reviewal, Meta, Instagram, or another platform.
• Using Sentinel outputs to make unsupported claims (for example claiming that an account is "guaranteed shadowban-free" or "certified compliant by Meta").

3. Responsible security disclosure

If you discover a security vulnerability in Sentinel, we ask that you report it to us privately at sentinel@reviewal.team before any public disclosure. We will acknowledge your report within five (5) business days. We do not currently operate a paid bug-bounty program, but we appreciate responsible disclosure and will credit researchers where appropriate.

4. How we enforce this Policy

We take violations of this AUP seriously. Depending on the severity of the violation, we may take one or more of the following actions, in our sole discretion:

• Warning. For minor or first-time violations, we may issue a written warning and require corrective action.
• Feature restriction. We may temporarily restrict access to certain features (for example limiting scans or disabling account connections).
• Account suspension. We may suspend your account while we investigate. During suspension, you retain your data but cannot use the Service.
• Account termination. For serious, repeated, or willful violations, we may terminate your account. No refund will be issued for any paid period.
• Legal action. We may pursue civil or criminal remedies, cooperate with law-enforcement authorities, and disclose relevant information as required by law.

5. Reporting a violation

If you believe another user is violating this AUP, please contact us at sentinel@reviewal.team. Provide as much detail as possible, including the account or user involved and any relevant evidence. We will investigate and take appropriate action.

6. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you via the Service. Continued use of Sentinel after an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
